How my education philosophy illustrates professional growth: This educational philosophy shows growth as me in a teacher. Over the past four years I have learned so much in college that will prepare me for when it comes to student teaching and having my own classroom. It demonstrates the growth in me as a teacher and the growth in me as a learner. It shows my view on education. It shows my personal growth to accomplish everything I just said in my educational philosophy.
What this education philosophy says about me as a learner: This educational philosophy takes all of the items I have learned over the last four years and previous years and puts its all together. It shows the goals I want to accomplish as a teacher and how I developed these goals over the past four years of being an undergraduate student. Writing this philosophy of education has really opened my eyes to getting to know each one of my students no matter what their background is. I think that every student deserves the opportunity to pursue an education.

How my letter to the parents illustrates professional growth: This letter to the parents illustrates professional growth because I really want my students' parents to be involved in almost everything we are doing in the classroom. I want to reach out to them and know I want them to be a vital tool to their children excelling in my classroom. It is also very important that my students not only learn in the classroom but they become life-long learners. I want the parents to know who I am as a teacher and outside of the classroom this way they feel comfortable with their children learning and growing in my classroom.
What this letter to the parents says about me as a learner: This letter home to the parents shows how I have learned how important it is to get to know the students' and their parents more on a one-on-one basis and how I want them to be involved in their children's learning process. It also shows how I have learned how important it is that the parents' trust me with their children so they know they are always going to be safe in my classroom. I want them to know they can come and talk to me at any point in the semester either after school or schedule a meeting with me.
